Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 28, 2026
SimulaDrive is operated by Sentinela Solutions LLC in the United States. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit simuladrive.com, practice, create an account, purchase access or contact us.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. You do not need an account to make a request.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your verified email address, account identifier and sign-in/session records. If you choose Google sign-in, Google verifies your identity and provides your verified email. We do not receive your Google password.
- Practice and preferences: selected state, license category, language, answers, scores, saved mistakes, flashcard ratings, module completion, simulator-use status and progress. You may also provide an exam date or tell us you passed.
- Contact and service requests: email, phone number where requested, the service you are interested in, language, consent choices and the message or attachments you choose to send.
- Purchase information: selected pass, price, currency, order and checkout references, transaction status, purchase/access dates and refund or dispute information. Payment details entered in Creem checkout are handled by Creem and its payment providers. SimulaDrive does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
- Website and technical information: pages and features used, interactions such as opening a quiz or checkout, browser/device information, IP-related network information, referrer and technical/security logs. Hosting and analytics providers may process this information.
- Optional reviews: review text and your choice about public display. A review is not required to use your purchased pass.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide practice tools; authenticate your account; save and synchronize progress; apply free-use limits and purchased access; process orders and refund requests; answer support and service requests; prevent abuse; diagnose problems; and understand how the site is used.
If you opt in to marketing, we may use the contact details you provide to send study updates or information about our services and offers. You can withdraw that choice by contacting us. Essential account, purchase or support communications may still be needed to provide a service you requested.
3. Service providers and disclosure
Information is shared as needed with providers that help operate the service:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, security, application processing, database storage, performance measurement and support-email routing. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google: Google sign-in when you choose it, Google Analytics for website measurement, and our business email inbox for correspondence. See Google's privacy policy.
- Creem: checkout, payment processing, merchant-of-record services, receipts, transaction verification and related refund/dispute handling when you purchase. See Creem's privacy policy.
- FormSubmit: delivery of practice-access or service-request forms that use that service. Submitted contact details, message/request information and consent choices are forwarded to our business inbox. See FormSubmit's privacy policy.
Providers may process data in the United States or other countries under their own policies and service arrangements. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect people or the service, resolve disputes, or support a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
4. Cookies, analytics and browser storage
We use essential authentication and security cookies. Our account-session cookie can last up to 30 days; signing out ends the active sign-in session. Other short-lived cookies help complete sign-in and remember a selected checkout plan.
Session storage can remember contact details during the same browsing session so you do not need to enter them repeatedly. Local storage can remember preferences, free simulator use and locally saved practice information. Account-backed study data may also be stored on our servers and synchronized between devices.
Google Analytics and Cloudflare measurement may process usage/device information and identifiers. Analytics scripts may load automatically. Blocking or clearing analytics cookies through browser privacy settings or extensions can limit measurement. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working. Clearing browser storage does not automatically delete account or transaction records.
5. How long information is kept
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described here: operating an account and study history, providing purchased access, responding to a request, preventing abuse, and meeting accounting, legal or dispute-related obligations. Retention varies by record type. Some records may need to remain after account closure or a deletion request, and backups or provider copies may remain for their applicable retention periods.
6. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, close your account, or withdraw optional marketing consent. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We may need to verify your relationship to the account before acting. We will explain any information we must retain or request we cannot fulfill.
Send requests to [email protected], preferably from the email used for your account. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, Social Security numbers or identity documents in an initial request. You can also manage Google account access through your Google settings and browser cookies/storage through your browser.
7. Security
We use safeguards such as HTTPS, restricted server-side credentials and secure account-session cookies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please protect your sign-in account and avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
8. Children and younger learners
SimulaDrive is intended for people preparing for driver licensing and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. Younger learners should involve a parent or guardian when purchasing or sharing personal information.
9. Reviews and external links
If you submit a review, we request a separate choice before publishing it. Avoid including private information in review text. Links to DMV manuals, payment pages and other external services lead to sites with their own privacy practices; this policy covers our handling of information, not those independent sites.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or our practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
